The initiative to make scientific research and its results in the form of publications, data, samples or software accessible to all regardless of whether amateurs or professionals is called open science. Open science means transparent and accessible knowledge that is shared in researcher networks and is developed in collaboration. It is based on the principle of knowledge accumulation and ensuring public access to it. Open Science provides free access to publications of research results and encourages exchange and cooperation.
This Open Science Forum uses the modern approach to the dissemination of scientific research. In a series of three open discussions, we will disclose what science is doing on the agricultural field, how it is changing the sector and is turning it into the most dynamically modernizing industry thanks to science and technology, how research is harnessed for public benefit, boost the opportunities for innovation and help solve the global problems.
